Our Deepest Condolences
It is with a very heavy heart that I share the passing of our beloved and distinguished Emeritus Professor of Behavioral Science, Dr. Wayne Strom. We received the tragic news today from his wife, Kathy, of Dr. Strom’s passing from COVID-19.
Dr. Strom became a full-time faculty member in 1970 and retired in 2012. He was one of three founders of the prestigious Pepperdine Presidential and Key Executive MBA Program in 1971. He has served as associate dean, director of graduate programs, and chair of various academic committees and won several teaching awards during his time as a faculty member.
Dr. Strom’s primary interests were in organizational performance enhancement and spirituality in business. He touched many lives for the good during his exceptional career as a professor, executive coach, and civic leader. We are deeply saddened by his passing and our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to Kathy and their extended family at this time.
We will shortly setup a forum wherein you can express your condolences and share your memories of Wayne. Please join me in expressing our thankfulness for Wayne’s immense contribution to the Graziadio Business School and the wider Pepperdine community.
