WE WANT YOU!

Join the Legacy at Night at the Fights

With plans underway for NAIOP SoCal's iconic Night at the Fights 2024, we are in search of commercial real estate professionals who have the drive, stamina, and courage to get in the ring at this year's event!

WE WANT YOU! If you feel that you've got what it takes, can commit to the training and want to be on stage at the event - let us know as soon as possible! Both male and female fighters will be accepted.

We are collecting names and will be reviewing all interested parties to see who’s got what it takes to be part of this year’s main attraction. Please note, that participants receive a training/equipment stipend. Training will start in mid-June in preparation for the October 10th event.

If you have questions please contact Becky Ezell, at bezell@naiopsocal.org

Fighter Testimonials

Charles Banks, FCL Builders

“It was an awesome opportunity to put myself out there in front of my industry peers in a situation I wouldn’t normally find myself in. Being a competitor, I remember saying to myself “you lose 100% of the fights you don’t fight”.

Steve Madigan, Kidder Mathews

"Participating in the Real Estate Rumble hosted by NAIOP was a truly unforgettable experience for me. As a boxer and Real Estate agent at Kidder Mathews, I had the opportunity to showcase my skills and competitiveness in a unique and exciting setting. The event was well organized and provided a platform for networking with some of the biggest players in the real estate industry. I was impressed with the level of sportsmanship and camaraderie displayed by all the participants, and I left feeling motivated and inspired. I would highly recommend this event to anyone in the real estate industry and I look forward to participating in future Rumbles!"

Chris Martinez, Pivot Interiors

“Participating in Night at the Fights was an experience I will never forget. Going into the fight I had a lot of experience competing in grappling combat sports like wrestling and jiu jitsu, but I had never competed in a boxing match. I applied the mental toughness aspects I had learned from being a martial artist and I trained hard for the fight. Taking part in Night at the Fights is a great experience that’s hard to put into words. Fighting in front of a thousand plus people is stressful, but hearing industry colleagues cheer you on and seeing how the fights bring people together makes it all worth it.”

David Sarnoff, PSRS

"Participating in the NAIOP Night at the Fights was an amazing experience.  Knowing that in a few short months I'd be stepping into a ring to perform in front of roughly a thousand of LA and OC's top real estate professionals was a tremendous motivator that helped fuel my training and kept me disciplined.  The feeling you get walking into that ring with all of the lights, cameras, and eyeballs fixated on you is one of a kind and I'd recommend everyone experience something like it at least once in their life.  The production quality of the event is first class, and NAIOP staff and volunteers goes all out to make sure the fighters have a wonderful experience.  If you're thinking about it, do it!!  You won't regret it."

Trevor Hanson, Triton

"It was a pretty exhilarating experience to box under the lights and in-front of the loud crowd. I think this is a great opportunity for anyone looking to challenge themselves both mentally and physically!"
