Awards Gala Committee
The Awards Gala will recognize leaders in the Southern California Commercial Real Estate Industry and bring together NAIOP SoCal members, nominees, and guests to celebrate their innovation and commitment to the commercial real estate industry and NAIOP SoCal.

Communications Committee
The Communications Committee oversees the chapter’s media relations and marketing activities. They are responsible for promoting the NAIOP brand at the local level, as well as furthering the SoCal voice through social media platforms.

Community Service Committee
The Community Relations Committee builds relationships with other charitable organizations for community involvement. Some of these organizations include: Building Block Foundation Fund; UC Irvine Center for Real Estate, Paul Merage School of Business; CRE-NAIOP Fellowship; University Challenge for Charity; among others. The committee also advises and supports efforts of Young Professionals Group (YPG) Community Outreach Subcommittee.

Diversity & Inclusion Committee
The Diversity and Inclusion Committee seeks to help build a diverse membership pipeline and attract youth to CRE, retain and support our existing members, and serve as a resource conduit. The committee is responsible for assembling a diverse set of industry professionals from various disciplines for Virtual Career Day, an event designed for students and developing leaders interested in pursuing or advancing their career in the Commercial Real Estate Industry.

OC & LA Golf Tournaments
NAIOP SoCal Annual Golf Tournaments, held in Orange and Los Angeles counties, are of the highly-anticipated annual events put on by the SoCal Chapter. The committee is involved with planning, sponsorship and other logistics for the events.

I.CON West Task Force
NAIOP SoCal is seeking members to join the I.CON West Task Force to help facilitate site tours in LA County for the annual national industrial conference with over 1,000 attendees. Task Force members will recommend facilities that would be visited by attendees of the I.CON West conference held annually in Los Angeles.

The Legislative Committee ensures your voice is heard at the local, state and national levels.

The Membership Committee coordinates membership campaigns and outreach events in order to attract new members to our growing organization.

Young Professionals Group - Alumni Committee (YPG)
Serving as advisors and / or leaders of the YPG Alumni Committee, the committee oversees planning and coordination of speakers for the YPG curriculum, reviews and approves YPG candidates, and provides mentoring and networking activities for current and alumni members.

Mentorship Committee
Mentorship is an exclusive members-only program that provides young commercial real estate professionals with valuable opportunities for personal and professional growth through focused, one-on-one networking sessions with veteran leaders in the commercial real estate community.

NAIOP University Committee
NAIOP U is SoCal's exclusive members-only educational program that provides thought-provoking presentations on topics important the Southern California industry. The committee plans for and executes each session including location and presenter selection.

Night at the Fights Committee
Considered one of the must-attended events in Southern California, Night at the Fights is the premier networking event attracting over 1,000 industry professionals each year. The committee oversees the creative aspects of the event as well as sponsorship, ticket sales and other logistics.


Programs and Events Committee
The Programs and Events Committee plans SoCal's annual events such as the Orange and Los Angeles Counties BBQ Bash and seasonal member mixers.

LA Real Estate Challenge Committee
NAIOP SoCal's Annual UCLA vs. USC Real Estate Challenge is held in the fall each year in conjunction with school's rivalry football game. The committee's responsibilities include determining the real estate challenge site, planning and executing the final program and event. The committee also works with the schools and their representatives through the duration of the project leading up to the event.

OC Real Estate Challenge Committee
NAIOP SoCal's is bringing our esteemed Real Estate Challenge to Orange County! The committee's responsibilities include determining the real estate challenge site, planning and executing the final program and event. The committee also works with the schools and their representatives through the duration of the project leading up to the event.

Chapter Sponsorship Committee
The Sponsorship Committee cultivates relationships with commercial real estate firms in Los Angeles and Orange Counties, and secures annual sponsors for NAIOP SoCal.

Site Selection Committee
NAIOP SoCal seeks motivated Los Angeles and Orange County members to help secure potential sites for three annual events. This Committee supports the annual LA and OC Real Estate Challenges and the YPG Case Competition by finding owners interested in showcasing their sites to be featured in these competitions.
