NAIOP SoCal Appoints 2018 Executive Committee and Board of Directors

NAIOP SoCal, the leading organization for developers, owners and investors of office, industrial, retail and mixed-use real estate, has announced its 2018 Executive Committee and Board of Directors, encompassing a diverse collection of commercial real estate industry leadership.

The 2018 NAIOP SoCal Executive Committee is led by President James V. Camp, Rockefeller Group; President-Elect and Sponsorship Chair Jeff Moore, CBRE; Secretary and Sponsorship Vice Chair Pamela L. Westhoff, Sheppard Mullin; Treasurer Rob Antrobius, Prologis; Secretary Alison Vukovich, LBA Realty; Programs and Education Liason and Community Service Chair Mike Hodges, The Irvine Company; and Past President Lance Ryan, Watson Land Company.

Recognized as one of the largest chapters in the nation, NAIOP SoCal remains focused on the issues and trends impacting its members. For 2018, priorities include:

Legislative efforts will focus, among local and regional issues, on: defeating a split roll tax ballot initiative; countering the efforts by air quality regulators to create “Indirect Source Rules” which would require places where trucks do business, like ports and warehouses, to be responsible for decreasing the emissions coming from those trucks or face penalties; as well as working to fight AB 1059, the proposed dual agency ban. Along with these legislative initiatives, NAIOP SoCal will continue to present its unique, sought-after industry events such as Night at the Fights and the USC vs. UCLA Real Estate Challenge, as well as promote the next generation of commercial real estate professionals through its award-winning Young Professionals Group (YPG).

“NAIOP SoCal has earned its role as a true representative for the interest and future of commercial real estate in Southern California. I am honored to lead this organization and look forward to working with the board to ensure we provide the best in education, networking and legislative representation to our members,” said Camp.
