Recommends and builds relationships with charitable organizations for community involvement. Some of these organizations include: Building Block Foundation Fund; UC Irvine Center for Real Estate, Paul Merage School of Business; CRE-NAIOP Fellowship; University Challenge for Charity; among others. The committee also advises and supports efforts of Young Professionals Group (YPG) Community Outreach Subcommittee.
NAIOP SoCal Annual Golf Tournaments, held in Orange and Los Angeles counties, are some of the most popular in the industry which is why they are almost always sold out. The committee helps with planning, sponsorship and logistics.
One of the core tenets of NAIOP, legislative affairs represents the interests of the commercial real estate industry at the local, state and federal level.
Night at the Fights
Considered one of the must-attend events in Southern California, Night at the Fights is the premier networking event attracting close to 1,000 industry pros each year. This committee oversees the creative aspects of the event as well as sponsorship, ticket sales and logistics
NAIOP U is a members-only educational program that provides brief and thought-provoking presentations on topics important the Southern California industry. This committee plans for and executes each session and secures presenters.

This committee plans for the chapter’s exclusive Leadership Symposium & Fall Forum, helping to secure industry leaders as presenters.
Real Estate Challenge
The annual UCLA vs. USC Real Estate Challenge is held in the fall each year in conjunction with the college football season. The committee helps to determine the real estate challenge site, work with the schools and their representatives, and plans for and executes the final program and event.
Young Professionals Group (YPG)
Serve as advisors and/or leaders of YPG Alumni Committee, which oversees planning and coordination of speakers for the YPG curriculum, reviews and approves YPG candidates, and provides mentoring and networking activities.
